Project overview
The project involved the complete refurbishment over two floors of Office and Laboratory spaces.
A new Plant Compound was created to support the location of the 2no. Air Source Heat Pumps, 5no. Air Handling Units, VRF 4-Pipe System Condensers, Pumps and Fume Extract Fans.
The building was separated into office space, Meeting Rooms, room pressure-controlled Laboratories with dedicated Air Handling Units and VAV boxes to maintain a room pressure regime dependent on the operation of Fume Cupboards.
Fabric socks were utilised to provide supply air, 4 pipe Heating and Cooling Fan Coil Units controlled via a central BMS to maintain the environmental room conditions.
Refurbishment of toilet core areas, new kitchen and break out spaces.
Local cooling to AV and Comms Rooms.
Dedicated CAT 5 Gas Water Calorifier Storage Tank and Booster Set to serve the Laboratory areas with hot and cold water.
Separate Gas Water Calorifier Storage Tank and Booster Set to serve Domestic Hot and Cold Water to Sanitaryware.
