Project overview
Roundwood Youth centre provides space for local youth services to provide a facility for the local youth centres for music, radio and art.
The building was provided with heating by gas fired boilers serving underfloor heating to all areas, domestic hot and cold-water services to kitchen and WC facilities.
Heat recovery Ventilation was also provided to the main hall, radio booths and hair dressing rooms.
Natural ventilation was also provided operated vis the BMS
Local cooling was installed to the IT room and Acoustic rooms.
The Sprinkler system consists of frangible bulb type nozzles throughout all areas of the Community Centre. The system is provided with water directly from a dedicated 100mm connection to the towns mains water supply.
